Many people don’t know the importance of church. For example, maybe they don’t see it as important or they don’t see the value but I have come to know that church is extremely important! Church is awesome because it teaches me about God. It also makes me feel safe and loved. It also gives me something to look forward to...
One reason why Church is Awesome is because it teaches me to be like God. How it teaches me about God is it helps people who are less fortunate than me. For example, we do a thing called The Dollar Club it’s where you can donate a dollar and when people donate we count it and end up with thousands of dollars to help all those people. Another example is, we help people in really hurting countries and give them food, water, safety, and medical help. Another example is, it teaches me to love people no matter what it also teaches me to trust God and his plan.
Another reason why Church is Awesome is because it makes me feel safe and loved. For example, everyone is so happy and always smiles! For example I was helping tear down Christmas decorations and there was this really nice lady and she always smiled. I only saw her not smile like once because she was probably stressed because there were a lot of Christmas decorations but she was always so nice and directed me to what I needed to do. It made me feel really good, another example is I can always be myself, one more example is people are just absolutely so nice.
Lastly, why I think Church is Awesome is because it gives me something to look forward to. For example I like seeing my pastor. He’s really encouraging and funny and also very thoughtful. He relates things to his own life and doesn’t point people out. He loves each and every one of us and preaches amazing things. For example, we’re learning about Heroes of Faith also known as Running with the Giants. I have learned so much and have begun to be a better person! Another example is I also look forward to going to worship and singing really fun songs. One more example is seeing friends and family. The idea that Church is Awesome is true. Because this is true it may be true that the people who work at Church don’t care that the people who attend Church ignore them; they are just happy to see them coming and entering the church and getting to meet God. This is important because being kind and loving matters a lot and church can start that! I realize that people and relationships and being kind and loving can make a difference.
